Vinyasa yoga is a basic version of yoga and yoga movement. It is engaged in all other types of yoga since all other dynamic types of yoga come from Vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa means “movement linked with breath.” Postures are strung together in a short or longer flow. In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. The instructor creates class secvences that include different types of monument to the sun, so that work out looks like dance.
